Psychological Support Services

Psychology Support Room is a private practice providing therapy for children, adolescents and adults seeking support with emotional, behavioural, and life concerns.

Individual counselling offers a confidential and non-judgemental space where you can explore your emotions, work through difficult experiences, and develop strategies for regulating emotional responses and addressing patterns of behaviour that may be contributing to current concerns.

Who the service is for

Services are available for children, adolescents and adults.

Children

Therapy for children focuses on supporting emotional and behavioural development within the context of family, school and daily life.

Work may involve helping children with emotional regulation, anxiety, behavioural challenges, and adjustment to changes, while also supporting parents in understanding and responding to their child’s needs.

Adolescent

Therapy for adolescents provides a space to work through emotional, social, and developmental challenges that can arise during this stage.

Support may focus on areas such as anxiety, mood, identity, relationships, and school-related stress, with an approach that is responsive to the young person’s level of independence and context.

Therapy for adults focuses on addressing current concerns and supporting individuals to work through emotional, behavioural, and situational difficulties.

This may include areas such as anxiety, mood, stress, life transitions, and interpersonal challenges, with sessions tailored to the individual’s circumstances and goals.
